What Might Have Been
The Romney-Ryan healthcare included plans to end end Medicare and Medicaid. They would also give tax breaks to oil companies and millionaires. They would slash government spending on health care so much that less coverage would cost more than what we pay for our coverage now.
The issue with this plan is that they would cut programs like Medicare and Medicaid, which a lot of the United States residents depend on, especially seniors. These cuts would double the cost of senior's health care insurance, and some would be forced out of their homes.
Since Mitt Romney was not elected, this plan never went much further than the planning stages and what has been described here.
